Lufthansa and TripActions launch travel platform for SMEs

Lufthansa Group Airlines and TripActions, a provider of all-in-one travel, corporate card and expense management solutions, announced an innovative, all-in-one business travel platform for small and medium enterprises.

The pioneering and user-friendly solution offers direct access to flight, accommodation, train and car rental content enhanced by a fast and personalized booking process that leverages state-of-the-art technology and provides access to all NDC offers attractive.

With this launch, the two companies are implementing an important part of their shared vision to proactively shape the landscape of managed travel in the new, increasingly digital enterprise customer relationship.

Business customers can choose between two levels of the BusinessToGo platform depending on their individual needs: an Essentials package and a Premium package. In both versions, corporate customers can access the entire range of flights from the Lufthansa Group and its joint venture partners, as well as a wide range of hotel, train and rental car content from TripActions.

Customers also benefit from enhanced policy and profile management, negotiated TripActions hotel rates, duty of care and CO2 emissions reporting, real-time management information, 24-hour support and 7 days a week and centralized invoicing, which allow global management of a company’s travel program. In addition, members of the Lufthansa Group’s PartnerPlusBenefit program have the option of collecting points directly via the booking platform and redeeming them online.

With the Premium package, corporate customers are offered enhanced on-boarding and support in setting up the platform if necessary, in addition to access to offers from other airlines. For the fee charged per trip in the Premium package, corporate customers can use the support service provided by TripActions unlimitedly.
