MSC Cruises USA has extended its flexible booking policy through March 31, 2022 for travel departing through March 31, 2023, the company said in an email to travel advisors.
“As part of our commitment to you, our valued travel advisors, we are constantly updating our policies and programs to help you and your business,” the email reads. “As we continue to navigate these unprecedented times, we hope these changes give you and your customers the flexibility and options you need.”
Thanks to the flexible booking policy, customers can change their cruise date free of charge up to 48 hours before the departure date.
MSC Cruises USA has also extended the “Healthcare Heroes” promotion through March 31, 2022 for voyages departing through December 31, 2022. The promotion offers up to 50% off cruise fares for them and their families. . It excludes world cruises and is subject to availability at time of booking.
The offer is accessible to front-line and back-office workers in the health sector, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists as well as all those who work in research laboratories. To confirm that a customer is eligible, advisors must email MSC Cruises a copy of their official proof of service and ID card when requesting the promotion to be applied to the booking. These same documents will also be required on boarding.
The healthcare professional must be part of the reservation to benefit from this offer. If the reservation includes several cabins, the discount will only apply to the cabin with the healthcare professional. The same healthcare worker can take advantage of this special offer on multiple sailings as long as they are traveling in the cabin.
Additionally, MSC Cruises USA reminds travel agents that sales are open for MSC Seascape. She will become the second Seaside EVO class ship in the line when she is delivered at the end of November. The ship will depart from Miami beginning in December 2022. MSC Seascape will offer two seven-night itineraries departing from PortMiami.
